You will develop tactical and psychological abilities that are critical for confined, high-stress environments. Beyond shooting, CRATE strengthens your problem-solving, teamwork, and decision-making under pressure. Participants will develop a recognition-primed intuition, enabling them to make rapid and accurate decisions rooted in real-world patterns. You will gain essential communication protocols for seamless teamwork, including both verbal and non-verbal communication. CRATE provides a clear foundation to isolate, distract, or neutralize an armed threat. You’ll learn team and solo techniques, movement principles, threshold evaluation, room entry skills, and post-engagement priorities, all tailored for church security settings. The course offers focused, hands-on training over two days: on Day 1, you build proficiency with live-fire exercises on the range, and on Day 2, you put your skills into practice in the actual environment of your house of worship. This structure maximizes your readiness, ensuring you and your team are fully equipped to protect your community.
